These books are really amazing. Those of you saying it's like Howl's Moving Castle (one of my fav movies btw) are incredibly off base. Best YA series I've ever read. Will be interesting to see how they handle the source material, especially considering the heavy-handed criticism of global capitalism, war, exploitation of labor, etc.

great job on showing Salthook being eaten...the town itself was literally thrashing to escape...I really hope they don't screw this up and they make all four of the stories.

Finally, I (and many others.) Have buun looking foward to this for so long. I last read the books 5 years ago, and even then saw them as a very good series (not the best, but still good.) And look foward constantly to it's release. Yet, I feel that the movie may not do justice to hester's eye, past and just overall badassness, she hunted a man on foot for hundreds of miles for vengance, made an alliance with a stalker of old and is (in my opinion) joint best character of the series (tied with the stalker, shrike)
