Look. A trailer where I have a sense of the tone of the film but no idea of what the whole story is! Wow that’s different from every trailer these days

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. The trailer doesn't give away much, which is good. So you'll just have to trust me, an internet stranger, when I say to go see it.

South Korean movies are so intriguing. Half way through you are so taken in you forget you are reading subtitles. Speaking of which, I need to rewatch Train to Busan.

Holy shit, I just finished watching this movie, and I’m blown away. Literally me and everyone else in the theater watched the film with our jaws dropped in shock, and even after the credits started rolling, we just sat for a few minutes. I think we all walked out with a little trauma. People were not kidding about going in blind. Some movies are still good even after you know what’s going to happen. Not this movie. Even the poster sort of gives away too much. Knowing too much would’ve made the experience much, much worse in my opinion. If you think I’m talking out of my ass, that’s fine, but at the moment the movie has 99% rotten tomatoes rating, 8.5 IMDb rating, and it won the Palme d’Or, the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival, by unanimous vote, which hasn’t happened since 2013. So at least take their words over mine, and go see the movie!!!

I fell in love with Ki-Jeong's character in that flood scene where she took out a cigarette and sat on the toilet

This trailer is so much better after watching the film. Some shots that look tense are actually hilarious. Some shots that make no sense are actually the most nerve-wracking. And it still doesn’t spoil anything for anyone interested in the movie!

That’s the thing about Korean horror/thrillers- we’re lured into a false sense of comfort with the humor before the dark side slaps us in the face.

Now this is a trailer. Leaves you curios without revealing the whole plot unlike american movie trailers

One of the best films of 2019, or even the decade. The acting deserves also an Oscar nomination.

Korean movies are absolutely mind blowing. I've watched so many of them and each one is literally Oscar worthy. I can't even choose.

Best Picture
Best Director - Bong Joon Ho
Best Original Screenplay - Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Wan
Best International Film - South Korea
Best Production Design - Lee Ha Jun and Cho Won Woo
Best Film Editing - Yang Jinmo

The first South Korean film to receive a nomination in ANY category at the Oscars... that's just crazy to me. Parasite is deserving of all of them (and more because Song Kang-ho was snubbed and this should've also been nominated for score and cinematography).
