This reminds me the episode where Mr. Krabs and Spongebob tried to kill the Health Inspector.

The Academy should be embarrassed and ashamed for overlooking this masterpiece. The film, acting, and directing are absolutely phenomenal.

Pattinson worked damn hard to shake off the filth of Twilight. He deserves and shines in all the amazing roles he's been receiving lately.

This movie is basically a hybrid of three Spongebob episodes:

1) The episode where Squidward and Spongebob are forced to work a night shift at the Krusty Krab.
2) The episode where Mr. Krabs and Spongebob think they accidentally killed a health inspector.
3) The episode where Patrick has a secret box and refuses to let Spongebob look inside it.

I find it funny that such a small studio like A24 has more creativity and talent than a multi billion dollar studio like Disney

The fact that neither of these two even got nominated for oscars is blasphemous

And the academy's bias against horror movies continues...so disappointing. I understand that this movie is "not mainstream" enough for the Oscars, but the fact that Dafoe and Pattinson were so obviously snubbed is ridiculous.

This film was incredible. Acting, cinematography, sound design. The slow, claustrophobic build, the unhinged payoff. The allusions to Prometheus and classic literature, just an absolute piece of art.

I still can't believe Willem Dafoe was snubbed for an Oscar nod, and Robert Pattinson who did an awesome performance too that proved he can truly act. 😔

I disliked Twilight as much as anyone did, but hence forth I better not hear anyone talk shit about Pattinson, the man earned respect as an actor.
Award worthy, says I!

Really digging the old fashioned cinimatography look. Even the bold decision to go with a narrow screen.
