Ben is criminally underrated. Such a talent, people hate on him too much

Feels like a reverse coach carter. Instead of the coach helping the kid’s, the kids are helping the coach.

I know you're suffering. I just want you to be happy again...
…but you gotta want that too.

This hits you like a bus at full speed if you're dealing with loneliness and self-destructive behaviour as well.

Ben Affleck is so underrated. He has been amazing since Good Will Hunting. He has made absolute masterpieces like Argo, The Town, Gone Girl and BvS. I loved his performances and he is one of my favorite working actors today.

This movie wasn’t supposed to be good it was just supposed to be Ben affleck doing his best on his own movie and working his ass off to get here and showing he’s a great actor, and this movie was actually pretty good and Ben gave the performance of his life, good job Big Ben

As someone who is sitting in Ben’s characters position, he perfectly encapsulates how it feels. Everyone who asks you how you are, you always say you’re fine, you spend your boring nights just drinking, at the bar or at home wasting away. Family becomes a second thought, something you ignore so often even though you care about them so much. This film is therapy and I thank the creators for what they have done for those who are struggling and need something to relate to when nothing else seems to work.

Just saw this. My god, what talent, what a underrated talent. In life you are given a set of cards and you can only play the hand your given. This movie proves that in spades. This is his comeback. It’s what he deserves. And I’m glad it worked out for him

I just started my first year in law school, this keeps me motivated to never give up!!! I know this isn’t at all relevant to what I’m doing...but the whole idea of pushing through when it’s hard...that’s where I can relate!!!

The fact that this trailer has used one of my favorite live performances from Justin Vernon has 100% sold me on this film. Also, Ben Affleck looks amazing in this.

I always liked Ben Affect as an actor. There's just something sort of "real" he can achieve in a role that is uncommon. Not in every part, but when all the cylinders are firing, yeah, he's a good actor; maybe one of the best of his generation.

He's definitely going to kill it in this role knowing he himself had an alcohol problem.
