What's with the minimal amount of Christopher Eccleston footage?? He was an amazing Doctor!

That's a really sweet trailer to get kids watching Disney into it! Although, myself being a die hard fan I still say "waaaaaa! No 1-8 Doctors"! Very happy this being shown to Disney kids!

You can't start with Tennant! I mean, he's brilliant, but without the season of Eccleston explaining some ground rules, as well as setting up the regeneration, how do you explain how Rose reacts to "meeting" the tenth doctor for the first time? Harriet Jones, Prime Minister? Why they are shocked with him looking like he does. Mickey etc.

Without that first season, I can only imagine a lot of fans being confused with the first few episodes and possibly dropping the entire show. Because some deliberate confusion is fine; you don't understand the Doctor Who Universe from episode one, and you'll never stop exploring it. But they explain a bit more in each episode. If you start from Doctor 10, you'll be left ignorant about all the refferences to number 9.

Isn't there a difference between selling a TV show to a company, and selling the rights to air it on their channel?  Disney don't own Doctor Who, they are just now able to broadcast it on their channels.  Similar to how some of the UK channels often buy the rights to air American shows.

Amazing trailer by the way.  The trailer-making Whovians on YouTube - as fantastic as they are - have met their match!

Good trailer, but is there any reason no voice clips from Chris were used?

I mean they got one from his series in there from Clive, but nothing from the 9th Doctor himself.

Ah well, it happens. Well done!

1103 out of 10: TOTALLY AWESOME TRAILER. Frankly shocked this is an official trailer and not a fan made. It's got that awesome geek/narrative element to it that you usually only see from fan projects. Good job to the editor at the BBC!
